Recipe: Shrimp with Butter and Garlic

Here’s a recipe that I can mightily say I have already mastered! Let me be mayabang na on this post. Eh di ba nga, row 4 ako sa cooking? As in zero, nil, nada cooking skills... but now, tadaaah!!! I can cook shrimp!!!

Ok fine, madali lang naman kasi talaga gawin to noh. Pero I’m still proud of myself! Hahaha!

Ingredients:
¼ kg Shrimps
Royal Tru Orange
½ cup Butter
1 tspn Salt
A pinch of ground Pepper
1 tbsp Sugar
6 cloves of Garlic, minced

How it’s done:
-Marinade shrimp in Royal Tru Orange and salt. Put soda just enough to cover the shrimp. The longer the marinade, the better.
-In a low fire, half-cook the shrimps with the marinade. Take out the shrimps from the mixture immediately when the color turned orange. Set aside.
-In a separate pan, sauté garlic in butter. You may put additional butter or garlic if you prefer.
-Once the garlic has blended with the butter, add in the soda mixture. Let it simmer and reduce until desired consistency. Add pepper and sugar if you want it sweeter.
-Then put the half-cooked shrimps. Allow the shrimps to absorb the sauce. Do not overcook!

And voila!!!

A yummy ulam. Perfect with a steaming white rice. Hay kagutom!

Try it na,
