More LPS Toys!

These came in with the package that Hubby’s sister sent from Uncle Sam’s.

Anime Horse and Mouse.

When the Anime pets came out here, I found them looking very strange, with their slim legs and tiny feet. But these two has grown on me after days and days of playing them with Amber. Yes, I am Amber’s favorite LPS playmate. And when we do play, I feel like a hostage victim stripped of my freedom. I am not allowed to do anything anymore. Going to pee is my only luxury. Sigh! But who am I to complain, yes?

Moon Fairy LPS.

Some of them have wings now?! But they’re fairies and Amber really loves them. They glow in the dark, too.

Thank you Tita Tin, for the presents! You made one ecstatic toddler here. ^_^

Amber’s Growing Littlest Pet Shop!

In case somebody is wondering why I have posts dedicated to our most favorite toys, or Amber’s LPS toys for that matter... I have good reasons. :P

First, so that I can keep track of them and know if Amber is losing any of her teeny weeny pets;

Second is so that when Amber grows up and get to read this blog, she would know that I shared with her her liking for the LPS toys (me playing a cool mom here :D); and,

Lastly, so that I could let the world be aware of how cute these tiniest things are! :)

So without further ado, may I present to you the addition to Amber’s LPS collection...

Warning: Cuteness overload!

Rabbit and Turtle, who by the way, think they're twins...
I have to figure out how to remove those ink marks (care of the little girl)
from Rabbit's face.

They both come with accessories that would confuse you over who is who. LOL!

Postcard Puppy

I felt so bad for not being able to purchase the Postcard Armadillo, so the Hubby got us, err, I mean, got Amber...

Armadillo

...who came with his pal, and my current favorite, Chameleon, who we often refer to as the Lizard, because it’s easier to pronounce.
Argh! Lizard wasn't spared of Amber's ink!

And the Monkeys.

That’s it for now. I have successfully controlled the urge to go and buy some more. Mahal na eh, masakit na sa bulsa. Have to wait until they’re on sale again. :)

LPS Postcard Pets

Amber is officially an LPS collector! Kasi we Amber has more than 10 toys na eh. Pag may more than 10 toys na, collector na ba? Hehe! Okei-okei! I admit it, I’m now into them, too (the kid in me!).

Good thing we have a Hubby and a Daddy who is very supportive of our growing bisyo. He is so good in scouring LPS toys that are on sale!!!

Look at what he found...
These are Beaver and ... I can't figure out what animal is that. But it's cute.

I really don’t like the LPS Postcard Pets because of their weird tattoos but since they only cost P100 each (Yeap! Huge price cut-off! They originally sell at P349), I won’t mind having them. I mean, Amber won’t mind having them. Hehe! So Daddy took home 2! Wala na daw stock yung ibang pets eh.

They’re still cute despite their odd tattoos.

Each of them comes with a postcard with Blythe on it.

Since we are on the topic, we haven’t completed our McDonald’s LPS toys yet. We only have these 2 at home. Ewan ko ba, McDonald’s seems to be avoiding me. L
Squirrel and Lamb (according to Amber, she's Baa Baa White Sheep)

Update: After an extensive research (J), I learned that the other cute pet in the postcard edition is a CHINCHILLA. According to wiki, Chinchillas are crepuscular rodents, slightly larger and more robust than ground squirrels and native to the Andes mountains in South America. Hmmm, so that’s why we are strangers to each other!

LPS Is In McDonald’s

The familiar blue background in the newest McDonald’s Happy Meal instantly caught my attention. It looked like the LPS logo. Wait... it really is the LPS logo! ~grin~

So I immediately made a left turn to McDonald’s to check the toys out. Sadly, the toys are no way comparable to the real LPS toys. :(

They are smaller and purely made of plastic unlike the real ones that has this ‘rubbery’ texture.

Nevertheless, they are still cute and adorable! I’m definitely snacking McDonald’s burgers and spaghetti the entire week so I can collect all 4 of them! Excited with the toys – not the extra pounds!

Now, I cannot deny the fact that I’m as smitten as Amber is with the LPS toys. In fact, mas maarte pa ako kesa sa kanya when it comes to LPS. Teehee! The kid in me! J

Side kwento... Amber has been bugging us to go to Toy Kingdom lately. The reason behind is that she wanted to buy a house for her LPS pets. Ang sweet di ba? When we got there, josme! Hindi kakayanin ng budget ko and bonggacious na house na gusto nya. What the Hubby did was looked for a cheaper and spacious house that she could use for the same purpose. Ayun, we ended up buying this 4-level doll playhouse that costs only P279.50.

Okay na di ba? Same fun with less the price. J

See that smile? Priceless! ^_^

Amber's Reward

Amber spends hours and hours watching LPS (Littlest Pet Shop) videos in YouTube.

She just stumbled upon one LPS video and she has been watching every LPS video she can find ever since.
So, for that potty-training reward the Hubby owes her, it won’t be a surprise if she chooses an LPS toy.
Unfortunately, the ekonomista Mommy won't easily be convinced into buying any of those overpriced toys. PhP 350 for every 1.5" of plastic animal toy? Really?!? Wala bang pirated nyan?!? Buti na lang hindi ako nahilig sa kanila during my time. Teka, meron na ba nito noon?!?
But the look on Amber’s face when she saw the toys... para shang na-constipate! I mean nagpalpitate, hehe! I know it would break her heart if we don’t bring home any of the little pets. Kaya ayun, after one sharp look at the Hubby and silently nagging him about it, I gave in. Buti na lang, this box with 1 dozen Pets is on sale!
It’s 30% off the price. Mega-compute agad ang frugal na Mommy. Buying this set would save me 80% than buying a single toy pack. Aba, shempre dun na ako sa da-more, da-merrier, da-cheaper!
Happy si Amber sa toys, happy si Mommy sa discount! Everybody, happy!
At home, Amber had so much fun playing with actual LPS Pets.
The Hubby told me that the amount we paid for was so cheap compared to the happiness in Amber’s face as she played and held the toys. Justifications!
O sha, sige na nga! Hindi ko na sha bubuligligin sa ginawa nya. Anyways, the Mommy is already starting to find these little ones too cute and a real joy to play with. Hahaha! Here are some of Mommy's (yes, you heard it right -- Mommy's!) favorites:
Uhm, not sure if putting the lion and the bird in 1 frame is a good idea.
Here's one very happy potty-trained and LPS pets-owner toddler:
