Chasing 'Penguins' At Kalayaan Avenue

Traffic was crazy last night. According to the radio news, all our passages going home were already congested.

C5 is the shortest route (next to EDSA but of course we will never brave EDSA on a weekday rush hour), so since traffic is heavy everywhere, we might just take C5.

As we approach Kalayaan Avenue Elevated U-turn, which has been the basis why we now despise the former MMDA Chairman BF, we already saw the traffic build up. Nothing new though. It has been like that since the construction of the elevated u-turn.

But enough of the rant because heavy traffic is already part of a normal Metro Manila day in my beloved Philippines. What I really want to share is what went on inside our car, err... vehicle (kasi nga truck sha di ba?). ^_^

This song came up in the Hubby’s playlist (yeah, we stopped listening to the radio news already and went for some relaxing music in the midst of the condition we are at):

We already stopped chatting a while before that.

In the middle of the song, the Hubby blurted out, “Who would want to chase a PENGUIN?!?!”.

Silence... I looked at him to see if he was joking or what, but he looked so damn serious and so concerned of the “Penguin” more than the heavy traffic. If you can only see his face.

That time I couldn’t stop it anymore, I laughed really really hard! Oo nga naman. Isn’t it more sensible to chase penguins rather than pavements? And his reaction... winner!

Hay naku, katuwa itong asawa ko! He really hasn’t lost touch of his comic timing.

By the way, I like the concept of this music video and how it was executed. Kalibang panoorin especially when they made use of the shadows. Galeng! The first time I’ve seen it, I’ve watched it over and over again... naghahanap ako ng mali, hehe!

PS: In ferness to the Hubby, he really knows that it's 'pavement', tamang patawa lang. Ok na yun kesa naman uminit ang ulo nya di ba? I really don't like it when he loses his temper when driving. I'll blog about that some other time. ;-|
