Sometimes I regret talking too much. I was thinking aloud about some ideas for my friend’s daughter’s baptismal candles which I was so excited to do. Then here she goes with the comment, in her exact words, “wala naman yang candles na yan, pagdating sa simbahan, hindi na din mapapansin. Tinatapon din lang!”.
Wapak! There she goes again!
The remark almost made me cry. I really felt bad that I had to respond. I said, “para mo naman sinabing walang silbi yung pinaghirapan kong gawin.”.
I don’t really mind if the godparents would throw the candles away. Or probably they throw them because they look ordinary. That’s why we turn them into something that is worth keeping di ba? And it’s something that I am so willing to do for a friend.
It was a rude comment and I was really hurt. Call me sensitive! Feeling ko tuloy my candles have been denied of their 5-minutes fame!
She better not ask me of similar favors in the future because I will never, not even consider giving her any! Mark.My.Words!!!!!
It turned out ok nmn. Nevermind her. Im sure your friend will appreciate what u did. Next time she does that to you, challenge her to a drawing contest, im sure stick lng ang kaya nun idraw (like me!) hehe. cheer up!It turned out ok nmn. Nevermind her.
