Until now, I still can’t help not to smile about my officemate’s story.
It was his first time to go to Binondo Church last Thursday. He was in Binondo because our boss asked him to look for some materials that the boss will be using in a project when he passed by the church.
There is this old wive’s tale that you can make 3 wishes on a church when you visit it the first time and one wish would come true.
So he did. One of his wishes is to make him win the lotto. He placed a bet before he went home.
Before he even finished his story, I butted in and scolded him for not making his wish more specific, like winning the grand prize.
He continued by saying that it might be the reason why he only got 3 numbers!
Hahaha! I wasn’t really expecting that his wish has actually been granted. Balik-taya nga lang... the minimum prize he can win. But at least he won something, di ba? Eh hindi naman nya sinabi kasi kung ano gusto nya mapanalunan.
See, wishes really do come true! Kelangan lang specific tayo, mga kapatid. ^_^
