McDonald’s Big N' Tasty Burger

I am craving for McDo’s Big N' Tasty Burger! Graaah! Aktwali, last week pa itong cravings na ito but whenever I had the chance to get hold of that mighty burger, either I am still full or I wanted to eat Twister Fries, too. I cannot eat the burger with anything else anymore because it’s too heavy for me. I really had a hard time finishing the entire burger.

My first BNT experience a few months ago.

But I love it! The burger patty isn’t juicy but there is certain creaminess in it that I like! And I love its dressing, too! Argh! Can’t wait to get my hands on a Big N' Tasty Burger soon.

Papano ba naman ako maglo-lose ng weight nito?!?! Aaargh!

Gyan & Gyo’s Double Birthday Celebration

I didn’t want to post this event yet until I get hold of some pictures from friends. Kaso ang tagal nila eh. And I’m excited to share what happened last weekend.

Seeing my best buddies was so worth the long trip to Sinaliw Na Munti in Alfonso, Cavite.

After years and years of not seeing each other, the double birthday celebration of Ate Gay’s kids, Gyan and Gyo (who turned 7 and 5) gave way to my mini-reunion with Ate Gay and Noemi.

When we stopped in front of the Ferre’s ancestral home, I rolled down my window to ask for a parking space. When Ate Gay saw that it was us, she immediately went to us and started to make a small chat, not mindful that we were blocking a big part of the road.

Ate Gay: Dumating kayo! Naluluha naman ako...

*Abah! Sa layo ng binyahe namin, di pala nya talaga ini-expect na darating kami! Wehehe! Joke lang ‘te Gay. When did we ever fail you?!? :)

I could sense that she was really overwhelmed. I was too, after a long time of not seeing her. Noemi, who was with us in the car could not help but feel the same.

Well, mabilis namang natapos ang drama naming tatlo when we were called by Ate Gay’s mom, Nanay Pency, (who we also missed a great deal!) to the buffet table. Hahaha! Tinalo ng gutom ang pagka-miss namin sa isa’t-isa!

After that, we started enjoying the party. It was held the traditional way. Tables and chairs were arranged on the spacious front yard of Kuya Andy’s family house. The front balcony was made to be the stage for the celebrators. A funny clown hosted the party. There were pabitins, 7 roses and 7 candles, where I was one of the participants together with Gyan’s 2 grandmoms and 4 other 7 year-old friends.

Korek! 7 years old lang ang peg ko at naihanay ako sa mga kids with the exemption of the lolas! Hahaha!

Gyan, Gyo and Amber.
Noemi's kids were busy with the games that we weren't able to take pictures of them. :(

It was with a heavy heart that we have to leave before the party ends as we still have a long way to drive home. But Ate Gay assigned Noemi to plan for another meet-up soon! This time, we will have the time all to ourselves and I’m sure that it will be a blast!

Happy birthday again, Gyan and Gyo! Amber and I hope that we can see both of you more often.

Words That Hurt My Ears :(

I really have to make an effort to lose weight and at least come a bit closer to my old figure (if there has ever been, LOL). Well, I’ve been contemplating on it for quite some time but never really made an effort to put it in action.

After attending parties this past weekend where I saw most of my friends and acquaintances from old times and hearing lines such as:

“Parang lumaki ka ngayon...”

“Para kang hinipan ah!”

“Ano bang ginawa sa’yo at lumobo ka na?”

I guess it’s really high time I give dieting a very serious thought! Medyo nakakaramdam na ng sakit ang tenga ko eh, hehe!

I have nothing against those who said these words, in fact, I should be thankful that if these weren’t said, I just wouldn’t care. ^_^

So, I am in search for the best way to lose weight! Something that does not require too much exercise because I will always have reasons to avoid doing it. Strict discipline, I think I can handle.

I’ve read about a proven diet that doesn’t totally change your eating habits. Nothing drastic, nothing extreme. Although the results may come a little slower. It is very likely to produce a positive outcome as long as strictly followed.

Hmmm... I’ll try it muna. If it bears positive result in a few weeks, I’ll share it here. ^_^

Fingers... toes... and eyes crossed!

Rafael’s First Birthday Party

Rafael is the second child of the Hubby’s former co-worker, Jen. Don’t be surprised anymore if you won’t see me in the pictures, or if there are not much pictures taken. Ako lang naman kasi ang dakilang photographer. ^_^

He had this very fun Mickey Mouse/Circus-themed party at Valle Verde 4 Club House.

I’m not sure if she also made the cake but those popcorn-styled cupcakes are home-baked by Jen, the celebrators mommy! Ang sarap nung cupcake, I swear! The flavor is s’mores and it’s really chocolatey chewy!

She ate the Marshmallows, I took care of the rest. ^_^

They also had this candy buffet filled with Mickey Mouse inspired sweets.

The foods were all so yummy. Sad nga lang that I wasn’t able to take pictures. I devoured them agad when my plate reached our table.

Towards the end of the party, Amber just wanted to go out and play on the yard. It’s too loud daw kasi inside. I always had to beg for her to come back inside the venue. With a pout, she’ll oblige naman, then go out again after a while.

Nevertheless, we did have a fun-tastic time!
With Mommy Jen and her very handsome son, Rafael.

Took home so many sweets as well!

Oh! We also met there for the very first time, Aidan. He is Amber's Ninang Nova's cute and very chubby baby.

Amber is giving Aidan her gigil-stare.

Thank you Jen and Mick for having us. Happy 1st birthday to the very cute Rafael.

A 1st Birthday Gift Idea

I just have to commend Human Heart Nature for their very fast, hassle-free online ordering procedure! And their delivery is so fast pa!

I placed an order online last Tuesday for baby and kiddie stuff. I intend to give these items as a birthday gift on Saturday. Initially, I plan to look for toys but my fat ass is too tired to go to the malls lately so I thought Human Heart Nature products would do perfectly since a lot of moms have vouched for its quality. Saka para maiba naman because I’m sure, the gift table would be filled with 90% toys! Clothes are not a safe gift if you haven’t seen the child yet. Children come in different shapes and sizes kasi.

So ayun, choose-choose the order, type-type the details and the next day when I got home, the package is sitting there already. I didn’t even have time to worry if it will arrive just in time before the party on Saturday.

Ang saya!

All I have to do now is gift wrap it. Oh, they made special mention pa of my request on the invoice ha – ie, pack nicely for it will be given as a gift. I know it doesn’t require being mentioned because their packaging is really nice. Naniniguro lang. ^_^

So there you go! 1 set of gift down, still have 2 more to think of. Medyo lagare kasi kami this weekend, we have 3 birthdays to attend to. Good thing that the 2 celebrators are having a joint party.

Hmm, I wonder when can I attend to a wedding naman? Lately, kating-kati talaga ang paa ko to attend a wedding. Calling my single and attached friends and relatives, please get married soon! And don’t forget to invite me, hokey? ^_^
