Look at these...

It took me a while to guess what they are. Giant albino cherries (if there is such)? Macopa?

Nope! They are the smallest apples I’ve ever seen! I thought Gala Apples are already cute but at almost 2” in diameter, these are way cuter! I just don’t know what they’re called – APPLETS??? ^_^

They are better to look at than being eaten though. +_+

They don’t taste like apple. For me they tasted more like Siniguelas or Kamias.

My officemate thought of making caramelized apples out of his remaining stash. Can’t wait until he does and brings some in the office. Teehee! 

Amber's Reward

Amber spends hours and hours watching LPS (Littlest Pet Shop) videos in YouTube.

She just stumbled upon one LPS video and she has been watching every LPS video she can find ever since. 

So, for that potty-training reward the Hubby owes her, it won’t be a surprise if she chooses an LPS toy.

Unfortunately, the ekonomista Mommy won't easily be convinced into buying any of those overpriced toys. PhP 350 for every 1.5" of plastic animal toy? Really?!? Wala bang pirated nyan?!? Buti na lang hindi ako nahilig sa kanila during my time. Teka, meron na ba nito noon?!?

But the look on Amber’s face when she saw the toys... para shang na-constipate! I mean nagpalpitate, hehe! I know it would break her heart if we don’t bring home any of the little pets. Kaya ayun, after one sharp look at the Hubby and silently nagging him about it, I gave in. Buti na lang, this box with 1 dozen Pets is on sale!

It’s 30% off the price. Mega-compute agad ang frugal na Mommy. Buying this set would save me 80% than buying a single toy pack. Aba, shempre dun na ako sa da-more, da-merrier, da-cheaper!

At home, Amber had so much fun playing with actual LPS Pets.

The Hubby told me that the amount we paid for was so cheap compared to the happiness in Amber’s face as she played and held the toys. Justifications!

O sha, sige na nga! Hindi ko na sha bubuligligin sa ginawa nya. Anyways, the Mommy is already starting to find these little ones too cute and a real joy to play with. Hahaha! Here are some of Mommy's (yes, you heard it right -- Mommy's!) favorites:

Please please please bear with me if all I’m blabbing about lately is regarding Amber’s potty-training. I am so engrossed in this dirty task that it occupies most of my mind when I’m at home. Well, at least I can start getting over it now. ^_^

Amber (announcing one of her successful attempts): Mommy! Meron na oh! Eww, this is ‘gusting!

What’s more disgusting than having that thing on your undies, sweetheart? At least, it’s in its right place now.

Eww, we’re ‘gusting! LOL!

Potty Training – The Hubby’s Way :/

After 2 weeks, we are proud to say that Amber has been carrying out the potty training well except for that one teeny-weeny problem.

So the spoiler Hubby stepped in and told her daughter that he will buy her any toy she likes if she will be able to remove her undies everytime she pees or poop.

You know what? It worked!

We survived 2 days with dry undies. What a relief! I just don’t know if I’ll thank or reprimand the Hubby for this accomplishment. But this reward thing surely worked for us! ^_^

My Little Lady Bug

...Seems unaware of that giant, nevertheless cute, lady bug at her back. ^_^
