Troubling Thoughts

Yesterday, I heard a child being interviewed by his English tutor. He was asked to give samples of sentences in declarative and exclamatory forms. I was surprised with the samples he gave:

“The dog is dead.”, “The men are fighting.”, “My house is on fire!”

I am no child psychologist but from what I’ve heard, I can’t help not to believe that the child is troubled. I feel so bad for the kid and fervently hope that every child will only say happy thoughts when asked the same. 

Wala lang, I just want to take this out from my chest since I can’t do much for the child. LLL
